November results

November wasn't a bad month for me.
Then again it wasn't great either.
I suppose average months happen?

I've had some health issues so only managed to play 10 live tournaments.
Still staying away from the bigger tournaments for now, because I have no bankroll, at all.
The small tournaments went fine and I ended the month with a 45% ROI.

Bad beat

For the first time in my life I experienced a real bad beat.
Not just losing to a worse hand, but a beat that most likely cost me €100+
Which doesn't sound like that much, but it's still a pretty big number for me, especially to lose in a single hand.

We were 3 players left in a 72 player live MTT.
First place is €360, second €240 and third €170.
I'm the short stack with around 12 bb, second stack has around 15-20 bb and the big stack probably around 25-30 bb.
BTN (mid stack) folds.
SB (big stack) raises to 2.1 bb
I'm in the BB with 98o and decide to defend.

The flop comes: 885 with two diamonds.
SB cbets for 1.5 bb and I just call.

Turn is the 6 of diamonds, there are now 3 diamonds on the board.
SB checks and I go all in for around 8 bb, there must be about 7 bb in the pot already.

SB tanks for a while and decides to call with T9o with the T of diamonds.

You know the rest of the story.
Diamond on the river, I bust in 3rd place for €170.
I have an 75% chance to double up there and we probably would've made a 3 way deal for around €270 instead.

Online poker

I've switched from playing cash games online to MTT's as well.

I'm now mostly playing 45 man SNG's, $0.25, $0.50 and $1.
While also adding in some scheduled MTT's of $0.50 - $1.10.

My biggest cash this month was $18.67 from finishing 3rd in a $1 - 180 SNG.

I've played almost 300 tournaments in November and ended the month with a ROI of 17.94%.

Not bad.
Not great either.
